Book Beginning: The Martian

This book is quite different from the others I have reviewed so far. This book is a science fiction book, the plot being that an astronaut is stranded on, of course, Mars, as you can tell by the title. It was written by Andy Weir in 2011, his second book to have been published. I am going to begin reading this book very soon, and I have anticipated a time where I am able to read this book, as I was caught up in the middle of other books. So now that I am finally able to start reading it, I believe it will prove to be an extremely entertaining read, and something I will most definitely recommend to most people, based on my       prior knowledge of the book.

  1. After reading the book will you see the movie with Matt Damon? It won like 2 Golden Globes which is pretty good. Good Job on this blog post.

  2. Yeah the movie is really good and explains a lot of scientific discoveries that will probably happen in the near future. I think that the book is better because it goes beyond what the movie does in a scientific stand point.

    1. It was very interesting and made you think about if what he was doing was really possible. Do you plan on seeing the movie?

  4. Maybe after you finish reading this book, you could compare and contrast it with the movie. Possibly some things that they left out or added in compared with the book.
